My name is Elizabeth Boucher Law. I was born on the island of Guam and lived there for 14 years. My family then moved to Colombia, South America where I attended high school. I received my bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University, my master's degree from Emory University, and my specialist and doctorate from The University of Georgia. I began my teaching career in 1989. I taught full time for 15 years (14 years in Gwinnett and 1 year in England) prior to having my children. When my daughter was born in 2004 I became a stay-at-home mom. (I did teach Challenge Math 1 day a week at Riverside Elementary.) When my son started kindergarten in 2011 I came to DCES when I returned to teaching full time! My husband's name is Steve. He is originally from Athens, GA. My daughter's name is Katherine. She is in fifth grade. My son's name is Christopher. He is in third grade. We live on a lake in Jefferson and love all water sports!
